This summer garden wedding with Kaitlin & Drew was the definition of beautiful. We started out at the gorgeous Spring Grove Park in Grandville, MI where Kaitlin & Drew had arranged a lush, garden scene for their ceremony. Soft, light pink flowers crested the whimsical decorations and matched perfectly with the bridesmaids dusty rose dresses while dark greenery provided a foundation to match with the groomsmen’s dark attire.
Once Kaitlin was ready, we brought her down the winding, stone steps for an excited yet quietly emotional first look with Drew. After they’d spent some quiet moments together (exactly why I love first looks!), we had some time to explore the grounds and take some stunning images beneath the trees. Then came the wedding party and let me tell you…this group was cuh-razy (in all the best ways)!! I don’t know if I’ve ever had a group more prone to laughter and silly moments but in my opinion that’s the best kind of wedding party. We laughed, teased, and laughed some more, making our minutes together purely joyful and thoroughly enjoyable (see, photos don’t have to be boring, can I get an amen??).
After sharing their vows in front of friends and family, Kaitlin & Drew headed for the reception at Stonewater Country Club where they danced, partied, and laughed their way through the rest of the evening. This entire day was seriously filled with so much joy and celebration and it was such an amazing privilege to document all of these moments with Kaitlin & Drew. Also, as an added bonus, I put together a little Wedding Film from this day so if you’d like to see a bit more of how this day turned out, check that out as well! Cheers…
